ANNOUNCEMENTS:

On January 14, 2025, The Huntingdon County Commissioners authorized another round of $30,000.00 in Act 13 Legacy Grant funding for municipalities, non-profits, and recreational organizations. 

Applications for this funding will be accepted through 4:00 pm on Thursday April 10, 2025. 

For 2024, the Huntingdon County Planning Commission received and reviewed fourteen (4) applications for Act 13 Funding. Their recommendations were approved by the Huntingdon County Commissioners on April 30, 2024. 

Funding awards include:

- $8,904 Playground Equipment Improvements at Canal Street Park, Alexandria Borough

- $10,000 Community Building Roof Replacement/Electrical Upgrade, Cassville Borough 

- $7,330 Backstop and Fence Replacement on the Farm League Field (JV Youth Baseball), Petersburg Borough 

- $ 2,020 J. Melvin and Beulah Isett Community Park, Marklesburg Borough

- $1,746 Equipment Needs for Warriors Mark Youth Baseball Reestablishment, Warriors Mark Township
