Susan Harry is the County Treasurer and Director of the Huntingdon County Tax Claim Bureau. These two departments are combined in one office. The Tax Claim Bureau collects delinquent real estate taxes that have been turned over by the 48 tax collectors of Huntingdon County.

Sportman's Firearm Permit
The Pennsylvania Sportsman's Firearm Permit is valid for 5 years. To apply you must be 18 yrs of age or older, present a valid driver's license AND a current Hunting, Fishing or Furtaker License. This permit must be carried in conjunction with a valid hunting, fishing, furtaking license or a permit to train hunting dogs, when actually hunting, fishing, trapping or training hunting dogs, or going to and from the place where you hunt, fish, trap or train dogs. NOT VALID FOR ANY OTHER REASON! You must produce both this permit and your applicable license upon lawful demand of a law enforcement officer.

Applicants will be required to personally sign the Sportsman's Firearm Permit in the presence of the Treasurer's staff in order to validate the license. YOU MUST APPLY IN PERSON and have proper identification as stated above.
THIS PERMIT IS NOT AVAILABLE BY MAIL AND WILL NOT BE ISSUED OR RELEASED TO FAMILY MEMBERS OR FRIENDS ON BEHALF OF THE APPLICANT. YOU MUST APPLY IN PERSON. REMEMBER, THIS IS A PERMIT TO CARRY A HANDGUN WITH RESTRICTED CONDITIONS.
