There are currently eleven municipalities participating in the voluntary curbside recycling program: Alexandria, Mapleton, Mill Creek, Mt. Union, Orbisonia, Petersburg, Rockhill, Saltillo and Three Springs Boroughs, and Shirley and Walker Townships.
Park’s Garbage Service and Querry’s Sanitation Service have agreed to pick up the co-mingled recyclables. The distinctive yellow containers are used in this collective program. There is no need to separate the items in the recycling container. See the list of acceptable materials below.
Please contact your borough/township or contact the Huntingdon County Recycling
Coordinator to receive a yellow container.
Curbside Recycling Collection Days
Collection times will be every other week and containers are to be at the curb no later than 7 a.m.
